Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative: 

The Art Jungle is a great sample of harmony between man and nature. It is also an NGO that aims to preserve the Atlantic Forest and to sensitize the locals and the tourists about all its richness and importance.

Each of the 8 bungalows, together with their unique furniture, was built by local craftsmen, with recycled wood and other natural materials.

All the power of Art Jungle comes from its solar heating system, and the water, from a natural reserve. The breakfast is made with organic items from own plantation and homemade breads and cakes.

Art Jungle also develops educational projects in order to teach the young people about the native forest and how to produce art craft with recycled materials.
