Eco Trip is a traditional and specialized operator in ecological tours and adventure tourism in Itacare, Bahia. In order to develop and run the whl portal of Itacaré destination they started a partnership with Rota Tropical, in Morro de São Paulo, Bahia.

Sergio and Elba, owners of Eco Trip had a dream some years ago. Live in a paradise place and work with eco tourism. Sergio first came to Itacare when he was only a one year old child. His parents loved to go to summers vacations and chose this land to relax for three months from December to march every year. He was born in Vitoria da Conquista, a small town in the southwest from bahia. Every year, his family and some uncles would go to Itacare in 4x4 Rural vehicles. During the third year, the Silvio Cairo family bought a good house in front of the sea, and began forty years of vacationing in Itacare.

Sergio met Elba in Salvador when they studied at university. He graduated in Administration and she graduated in Physical Education. They went to Itacare in the beginning of their relationship and every year they returned. They have 3 children and all of them love to live here.

Ten years ago, Itacare had a new road built and occasionally they began to work with tourism. Four years working on the high season led them to live in Itacare during the entire year, so they founded Eco Trip and began the journey of tourism and adventure.

All this time, they defend the destination against mass tourism that is installed here. They prefer to work with local partners and promote local culture and the native people.
