The "Vila do Forró" is kind of a "São João party's hangove" and is promoted by the Centro de Aventuras Interatividade Itacaré (adventure center Interactivity Itacaré). Th first Vila do Forró event was in 2009, and it offers fun for the whole family during two days. It includes presentation of "Quadrilha" groups, forró bands, typical dishes, traditional games (prison, kissing and fishery stands). For younger audiences there will be the "Forrozinho space" led by a group of monitors which will hold activities and games such as: "egg race", "sack race" and others.
The Centro de Aventuras Interatividade Itacaré is located 4 km before the city in an area of 260 hectares in the middle of the forest. During this event it will be offered a variety of adventure activities such as hikes through the woods, kayaking and Zipline. The place has a complete structure for events and a restaurant, rooms for hosting and even all the necessary equipment for those who wish camping.
