"Espicha Verão" in Itacaré

The event "Espicha Verão" is promoted after the Carnival and it aims to prolong the stay of tourists in Bahia. The event is in its third edition and is performed by Bahiatursa (Bahia's Tourism Company) in the capital - Salvador - and other cities in the state like: Itacaré, Lençóis, Ilhéus, Porto Seguro, Mangue Seco and Maraú.
In addition to attracting more visitors and keep the remaining tourists in the state, the "Espicha Verão" values the local artists. The event takes place on March 6th and 13th with folkloric presentations, concerts and sports activities on the beaches of Itacare and the city center.
From 5 pm to 7 pm people will enjoy the Beach Cinema and at 8:30 pm there will be a concert with local bands, and to finalize, at 10 pm there will be a presentation with the regional attraction "Cangaia de Jegue"
